As a rehab physician, I base my practice on using the most evidenced based treatments possible to enhance function, reduce pain, and increase health and wellness for my patients.  Therefore, treatment plans must include a western medical practices and be complemented by eastern medicine practices, especially acupuncture.  I pride myself on being an expert diagnostician and truly appreciate the way that Chinese medicine practitioners/acupuncturists base their treatment on regular assessment, thereby maximizing benefits for their patients.  As a cancer survivor myself, I owe much of the reduction of treatment side effects and return of function to my personal experience with acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
